Physical Therapy Assistant
My name is Maria Hernandez Arias, and I am a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and graduate of Polk State College. I have a strong passion for working in pediatrics because I believe every child has unique abilities, strengths, and potential. Helping children grow, learn, and achieve their developmental goals is both rewarding and inspiring to me.
I am known for being patient, playful, compassionate, and dedicated in my approach to therapy. I enjoy creating engaging and meaningful activities that help children develop their physical skills while making therapy an enjoyable experience. Building strong connections with children and their families is very important to me, as it allows me to provide individualized care and support each child’s unique needs.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, trying new restaurants and eating out, and taking my dog on walks. I am excited to continue growing as a PTA and making a positive difference in the lives of the children and families I have the opportunity to work with.
